Church Development Team

The purpose of the Church Development Team is to assist the churches and encourage cooperation to become Great Commission churches through intentional ministry. The Church Development Team also encourages the creation of additional Teams to assist the Churches of the Association in the areas of age-graded ministries, gender specific ministries, stewardship, leadership, music, conflict resolution and worship.

 

The Church Development Team supports and oversees:

 

 Music Ministry Team- encourages cooperation and development of Ministers of Music and worship in associational churches.

 

Youth Ministry Team- coordinates youth events for associational churches and provides support for local youth directors

 

 Men’s Ministry Team- encourages associational churches to grow and develop men’s ministry

 

 Women’s Missionary Union Team- coordinates local WMU chapters for cooperative mission projects and missions education.

 

Communications Team- uses social media, electronic communication and the association website to promote and educate member churches about news and upcoming events. This team also offers consultation to churches looking to increase the use of technology in their church.
